Never liked cake. Too heavy with no rewarding taste. A cheesecake if made well can be nice but usually they are not.

I have two cakes I like I cook fairly regularly- caramel apple cake and a sour cream + raspberry cake.
The latter used I think those dodgy berries, but didn't get sick cause of the cooking process.
