Good news is Geelong have the minor premiership sewn up so maybe they’ll take it easy, otherwise this one could get biblical.

In: Kelly, Rioli, Clark
Out: Jones (inj), Langdon, Nelson

Backs: Edwards, Barrass, Bazzo, Hurn, Duggan, SPS, Foley
Mids: Kelly, Shuey, Redden, O’Neill, Gaff, Hough
Rucks: Naitanui, Rotham
Forwards: Darling, Dixon, Waterman, Cripps, Ryan, Rioli, Clark
Sub: Nelson
Emergencies: Langdon (traveling), Williams, Winder

Not bringing anyone in from the WAFL side that scored one goal.

SPS to shift down back to replace Jones.

Structural change up forward: Rotham to back up NicNat, Dixon to play as the second key target, Waterman to play high half forward in place of Langdon.

Would love to get Winder/Clark into starting line up to make their cases for next season.

langdon and jones out. (Langdon is a very known quantity, and it's not much.)

Winder has had 26, 30 and 33 touches in his past 4 WAFL games. I know we're overflowing with young midfield talent [citation needed] currently, but surely give him a run in the middle. Culley also should be back in and in the guts.

But instead I can't wait to see Exxon moved to the HFF when TK comes back.

So, the situation has become something like...

If norf win, we get the spoon
If norf lose then we have to lose by about 120pts more to % the spoon.

I'd feel a lot more confident of avoiding the spoon if we were playing anywhere but MDMA stadium

Dangerfields 300th game against us.
At MDMA park.

We get Culley and TK back.
Jones out, maybe Nic Nat out if sore.

Afraid it could get ugly.

Hawkins is about 4 goals behind Cameron who is about 3 goals behind Curnow.

I can 100% see this game becoming party time trying to get those 2 blokes as many goals as possible in front of Curnow before Carlton play on Sunday to give him something to chase.

I picture something like

Hawkins 10
Cameron 6

so they can tie for the coleman

At the end of the day, anyone who is even slightly injured, unfit or underdone should be staying in Perth this week

Their 2023 rehabilitation and pre season can start effective immediately

No waiting until 2023 to make surgical decisions, get it done now

All energies must be devoted to starting day 1, preseason 2023 with no names on our injury list

Out: Jones (inj), Langdon, Gaff, Nicnat (injured), Rotham (to sub)
In: Winder (as an outside mid), Rioli, Kelly, Clark (from sub to play a full game inside), (some ginger spud who is unfortunately our only option for an injured Nic)

Like these changes but would have Rotham in the 22 and Hough as sub. Kid is gassed.
