I like it. Stealth posters. Post something about despising the thread, the HTB and all it stands for and then melt away as mysteriously as they arrive.
:drunk:

I'm not sure how anyone who posts here as frequently as you do needs to be pointed in the direction of the specific posters I'm talking about.

Sounds like all the boys are guilty of is wanting to get their rigs up to scratch in time for Future.

Clen really isn't performance enhancing, they may look leaner and strip some fat but that's about it. Ridiculous if you have taken it, you can't accidentally take Clen either as you need to inject it orally through a syringe. DUMB

Serious anabolic steroids these ones, am I right in thinking that this becomes a club penalty because 2 players were involved?

Certainly not something you can pick up at chemist warehouse, but pretty easy to buy online. (quality dependant) They better have not bought from a friendly guy on the street who likes bikes, be tough having to give that info up....

There's two options, really:

- Collingwood dropped it now to ensure they cop less than a days's heat before the torch returns to Essendon (by far the most likely IMO)

- the AFL and/or ASADA have released it now to move some of the spotlight off tomorrow's announcement.

IMO there is no way in hell it's a coincidence. No way in hell.

It's too good to be true, has to be orchestrated.

On a lighter note, do today's events count as Essendon's 17th flag?

On a more serious note, I wonder if the +ve tests will lead to an investigation by the integrity unit of the entire club.

It will, they'll look into whether it was just a couple of rogue players or if it was part of a club sanctioned program. If it's the former it's just some embarrassment for the pies the latter and they are in for a world of hurt.

Just did some research on Clem.. Clem is commonly used by bodybuilders as it shreds fat & increases muscle. Now it is known to be in meat as animals get fed it.. But not in Australia...

Clem takes about 4 days to get out of your system, so they can forget the argument that they ate meat overseas during holidays because they were tested in FEB 10..

They are both from queensland and are great mates...

They didnt get clem into there systmem via meat, they both took it knowingly to get an advantage. Give these 2 the boot ASAP..We dont tolerate drugs at our club..

Take note Essendon fans, its actually very easy not to keep your head in the sand..

Lance Armstrong didn't fail a drugs test either. life ban.

Cycling: Lance Armstrong failed four drugs tests in 1999, UCI admits

The International Cycling Union has defended its actions after it was confirmed that Lance Armstrong returned test samples with traces of corticosteroids four times during the 1999 Tour de France.
It had previously been known that the former US Postal rider, who in January confessed to drug use, tested positive for the substance once, but the UCI has confirmed a leaked internal memo stating that there were actually four positive tests.

honestly don't know when it actually kicks in. But quite possibly - I mean, that's what the new code is: 2015
From the AFL Website, the 2015 Anti-Doping Code:
http://s.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL Tenant/AFL/Files/AFL Anti-Doping Code 2015 FINAL.pdf
17.2 Ineligibility for Presence, Use or Attempted Use, or Possession of Prohibited Substances or Prohibited Method
The period of Ineligibility imposed for a violation of Clause 10.2 (presence of Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers), Clause 10.3 (Use or Attempted Use of Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method) and Clause 10.7 (Possession of Prohibited Substances and Methods) shall be as follows, subject to potential reduction or suspension pursuant to clauses 17.4 and 17.5, or 17.6:

(a) The period of Ineligibility shall be four (4) years where:
(i) The Anti-Doping Rule Violation does not involve a Specified Substance, unless the Player or other Person can establish that the Anti-Doping Rule Violation was not intentional;
(ii) The Anti-Doping Rule Violation involves a Specified Substance and the AFL can establish that the Anti-Doping Rule Violation was intentional.

(b) If Clause 17.2(a) does not apply, the period of Ineligibility shall be two (2) years.

Since Clenbuterol is an S1 prohibited substance, it is NOT a specified substance, therefore (a) 4 years could apply.

Has Pert pushed them under the bus already

Meanwhile, the club offered the following statement on its website: "It is important for Collingwood to communicate to its supporters that the club has conducted a forensic audit of its tightly controlled dietary and nutrition program (which is overseen by its Integrity Officer) and is completely satisfied the positive results are in no way connected to the program," the statement said.

no-one seems to be focusing on the fact that it's two players. One you can understand, it's a rogue player juicing on his own time. But two? Is it then naive to think there aren't others who are at least aware and probably involved? And they were on a trip away, where do two people independently source this stuff?

Both from QLD and live together according to Pies board.

You've done well to write a post that is completely wrong in every sentence.

Stripping fat and being leaner isn't a performance enhancing effect? righto mate.

You can accidentally take it also, in small doses.
