Have seen the footage.

Eley Park player shoves Masala Player 1 after running from about 10m away
Masala player 2 runs into remonstrate with a shove, scuffle ensues
Eley Park player throws a right hook which landed very solidly on Masala Player 2
Masala player 1 runs in an lands a big overhand right (likely the damaging blow).
Masala player 2 then wrestles Eley Park player (who was already going down) to the ground and lands an ok right and 2 extra meaningless punches.

Upon analysis all suspensions seem fair.

Tribunal results out, 8 weeks and 2.

Hearing from a few people that Masala as a club are on final warnings in the VAFA? Confirm or deny Disco?

First part is absolutely right, should all be about safe and respectful football.

These players are not those two individuals, fantastic blokes however they decided to part ways with the club which was done due to there personal reasons which is totally respected and understood. I think the issue is holistically the masala reserve team tends to target players violently and even worse, their coaching staff enable this behaviour. These players have families and when you’re beating down on people it becomes more than just a football tussle.
100% mate wouldn’t of said it otherwise. Unfortunately the situation with the club didn’t work which is totally fine not everything is gonna be smooth sailing.
Those two individuals are dead set drongos - the epitome of exactly what you don't want at a suburban football club.

Life bans if they have a reputation at St Johns, have moved to Masala and the same thing is happening?

I will not cop that, you cannot be a good bloke/s yet have a reputation for fighting at 2 different clubs. If Masala were serious, they'd kick them out of the club and let the VAFA know so further transfers to other clubs keep happening and more trouble is had.
St Johns have been kicking players out of their club for years now. After a player was given 12-14 weeks for head butt and striking. He was promptly kicked to the curb. St Johns really cleaned up their culture which is a testament to the current committee.

Some interesting news coming from Box Hill North. Word is they've removed their captain and given him a life ban..

Very interesting considering he has been carrying that club on his back both on and off the field for the past 2 seasons

A quick google of the player shows him to have a moral compass that broken I am not sure he would be able to not rob his grandma.

Warrants for arrest, dodgy business, assaults, threats. Sounds like a quality human. Surprised he lasted 14 rounds.

Thanks Disco for your update.

But let's not turn this into a sob story about the two best players missing finals. your stance should simply be "we don't have a club that supports violence and we have kicked them out immediately."

Aren't they the two brothers who were kicked out of St Johns for fighting and came to your club and have done the same each week? Interesting pick up.
the club has already made statements publicly and on this forum to that effect.
No it wasn't them.

It's different people, you believe 100% of every word anyone posts in here ay?

A club captain banned from the club? Puts him in the box seat to be recruited by Masala 😂
Masala have not recruited any player with tribunal history this year, and to reiterate, the guys who came across from St Johns, are not the guys involved in that incident.
The St Johns players who came to Masala did so after Masala made a complaint about racism against St Johns. I'm speculating here but given they are multicultural players, perhaps they weren't happy with being associated with a club which allows that kind of thing?

The St Johns brothers were yellow carded in a game for fighting and the club secretary and president immediately during the first quarter told them they were to leave the club and not come back.

They left their reserves two short for the game but decided that their behaviour wasn't tolerated. Have continued in other game now for Masala so seems like they remain thugs just for a new club.
