So give us pick 1, and we can make it worth pick 19 for ya! We're very talented.
Gallucci? He wasn't worth a packet of Nobby's Nuts.

Only doing players we haven't traded

High First Round Pick
Rachele
Thilthorpe

Late First Round Pick
Nil

Second Round Pick
Cook
Pedlar
Doedee

Third Round Pick
Jones
McHenry
Milera
Fogarty

Fourth Round Pick
McAsey

Fifth Round Pick
Gallucci (at the time of his delisting)

Doedee a tough one. I think he's worth a late first to us but when was the last time a medium defender was traded for a first rounder?

On the open market, Doedee is top 15. As is Cook. Cook has shown that he can play at the level AND that he has enormous potential still. That translates in to a strong pick.

Here are my brutually honest assessments of our first round picks.

Rachele = blue chip talent, potential Top 50 player.
Thilthorpe = looking promising, but still has a lot of development ahead of him.
Pedlar = too early to call, but has been somewhat disappointing thus far.
McAsey = MASSIVE BUST
Jones = BUST
McHenry = BUST
Fog = BUST

When you look at our busts, you can see why Carlton has taken over 20 years to rebuild.

Throw in Gallucci and its disasterous reading. How Hamish is not facing a massive amount of scrutiny is beyond me.

Look at where Ginnivan was drafted and what he is producing compared to McHenry.

Jones, top 10 pick is playing back pocket and the pass mark for a good game is when he doesn't * up.

As for McAsey, FMD.

I had high hopes for Pedlar, still think he can make it but hell, he'd want to be showing a lot more in the SANFL and on a consistent basis.

That horrendous reading and very hard to argue, seems like the better picks we've had the worse we've become at selecting talent.
