Good player Mark Pitman. Not as good as DAVID Pittman, who rucked for the Crows. Still gave us a good quote when Blighty labelled him as 'pathetic'.

And the rat's tossbag quote was Blighty teeing off when the St Kilda leadership had a crack at him after he'd quit as coach of the Saints.

Doesn't matter who "invented" the "joke", or who told it to who in the outer.
The reason the quote is so good is, because it was a public comment, by the club president, and Carlton had just beaten Collingwood in the Grand Final (again), by 5 points.

Interesting in theory but given that I heard it way back when I was still at school and used by and about a number of teams it tends to make a bit of a mockery of your childish attempt at wit.
