Is Rene Kink on his own as 6 time grand final player and no premierships?

Yep. Six others were part of five losing grand finals (Dyer, Coventry, Reynolds and Hutchison among them) but they all won at least one flag. Seven others went 0-4, including the Geelong quartet of Ablett, Hocking, Couch and Brownless, while Craig Davis and Ray Byrne both played on the losing side in 1973 at Carlton and later were at Collingwood for the three straight losses in 1979, 80 and 81.

Jack Titus of Richmond played in six losing Grand Finals - 1928, 1929, 1931, 1933, 1940 and 1942. He also won two Grand Finals with the Tigers - 1932 and 1934.

Rene Kink played in six Grand Finals without winning one - 1 draw and 5 losses.

Geelong supporters can maybe comment here.. but why would Hawkins be retiring in the next 5 years? His main attributes strength, marking and kicking aren't ones that will degrade quickly with age.
So 2 more flags in the next 5 years and he may finish on 5
The hawk looks like he could play at the least one more maybe 2. He is a chance of another flag. But he may decline quickly given age.
