Portfolio Geeky Grub's Premiership Artwork

Hey guys, I have been wanting to do this for a while but haven't been able to find the time. I've decided to make time over summer.

Introducing 'Geeky Grub's AFL Mascot Art' All artwork will be original and will be a combination of both traditional and digital artwork.

Like Mowse did with his AMAZING artwork in the 'Mowscot Manor' Portfolio I am aiming to eventually create a mascot for every AFL team in my own illustration style (and potentially a 'Premiers' poster at the end of the year)

To make this successful I will appreciate ANY feedback and involvement.

Made a few changes to the head. Also added some shading to add definition. I am defiantly planning to add colour so this is just a concept sketch.

^This one looks more like a Hawk, but still looks like a swan due to lack of color.

Prefer the first head, the new one looks worried, almost a "I hope noone notices what I just did inside the trophy" look.

With that being said, fix the expression and version 2 will be great.

I liked the bit of a smirk on the first version. Not sure if you're going for an honest depiction or a bit of anthropomorphism, but that did appeal to me.
