Well actually if you discount the umpire goals we won so its not too bad
Umpires were bad but we just had too much inexperience. Full team and we win by 60.

Dominated every stat but for conversion, lost their heads afterwards. Foolish to think this game "could never be won" with what we had out there.
Crucially, with us not capitalising the tigers were confident to run ahead etc. Part of that was thinking they didn't have as many good oppo players to "worry" about.

Needed a Stengle tonight. Even Simpson played too high up the ground

And that’s the problem with the sport.

No ******* accountability of the umps.

When even the commentators look at a replay clearly see it’s a free and go “ It’s fine because it’s DUSTY” you know a sport is ****ed.

Edged disposals and inside 50s. Belted them in clearances and contested possessions. An extra scoring shot. Belted in umpiring decisions, field kicking efficiency and conversion at goal. Just one of those games. It was winnable, we didn't win it, we move on.
Well summed up.

Our young guys showed enough, just needed a bit of "glue" at times in the form of experienced heads

Even with this team we had our chances though but i agree with a full team we smack them.

Get rohan close stengle danger stanley and guthrie in (and maybe bowes) and guys like parfitt oconnor dempsey ceglar (though cegs was ok) out and we will be a far better side
