I got 97.65 and could pretty much get into anything I liked except for medicine.
Except girls pants!
?? Didn't have much trouble with that..
nor will i have any more trouble in the future when i get into postgrad medicine/dent at university of melbourne soon -.-
Tall poppy syndrome is strong with this one.

What defensiveness?? I'm sorry if you were so insecure to make a "joke" for seemingly no reason
Geez you are an uptight silly. Hope you enjoy the footy tomorrow

A Melbourne supporter wanting to do post grad med at Melb uni.... What an awful person you must be.
Don't be too jealous mate I'm already doing undergrad degree at melbourne uni....
Arts isn't a degree. Also, honest suggestion, look at other unis for med, the practical aspect of melb uni fails.
Oh and not jealous, I've got my under grad degrees and am doing masters atm.
lol you obviously don't understand anything, i would stop talking. You can't get into melbourne med with Arts degree because of the pre-reqs; anatomy, physiology and biochemistry.
I am a science student and have already got a competitive score on the GAMSAT (the med entrance exam).
Also you clearly don't understand the melbourne model because melbourne med (which is ranked no.1 in Aus) gives the most practical experience than any other uni.
Other universities have the 2 + 2 approach where they need to cover basic theories in the first two years and then only 2 years of practical experience.
Melbourne on the otherhand, due to their pre-requisite subjects can skip straight to a 1 + 3 system which gives student an extra year with real experience and research opportunities.
Please don't talk about things you don't understand. I'm sure your masters in Arts at some no name university is going well for you
Wow . People get really narky about this stuff.
OP, just do the best you can. Previous posters are right though. If you get in to anything at uni, once you are in the system it is easier to swap over into what you really wanted to do later. Good luck.
Funny thing is, i didn't even think it was a big deal going to Melbourne uni until the offended folks on here emphasised it...I guess they are the insecure ones after all
I couldn't care less what you do with your life. It's your arrogance about the path you've taken, ie thinking it makes you better than others, and your inability to laugh at yourself which makes me glad you go for the worst football team since University. Bit of karma for ya for being a knob
Says the guy who insulted me for absolutely no other reason than jealousy?? All i said was i got 97.65 and had no trouble with getting into courses, which was on topic. And then we get people like you and the other tosser who hasn't got a clue about medicine making observations lol.
Well I am from WA so have no idea about Melbourne unis anyway.
