It is proportional to their worth in some cases. Not sure how GC players could sustain that turnover but there are some for sure.

Bit like a casino where you may only take a couple of hundred $, but reinvesting wins could see your turnover at thousands playing blackjack roulette etc

This is true. Isildur pulled it off for a while haha. In some circles 300k would not be a huge amount of money. But if the rumour is true, I doubt its him anyway
