I have a feeling Sydney might tank/rest players against GC

Well for Sydney they would rather play Fremantle than hawthorn @ the MCG, The question is for west coast would you rather play hawthorn or a derby against freemantle? i don't know but if i was longmire i would also rest players to make sure i would avoid hawthorn in week 1 in case west coast pull a fast one on me. I was not convinced by west coast lost to adelaide the mismatch and the game plan for west coast looked a bit Iffy. Your thoughts?
