The batsman can bring their own bats - let the bowlers bring their own balls.

I've never understood how we can have rules regarding equipment (clothing, wickets, pitches) - but let arguably the most important (bat) be pretty much open slather to massive development (well, I do know why - money from manufacturers).

Yep time to put a limit on the volume of bats like they've done with golf drivers.

Fielding restrictions don't mean anything when a complete shank still goes 10 rows back.
