Potential free numbers based on trade scuttlebutt:

1, 3, 4, 15, 20

Personally, I'd love to put Caminiti in the #23 just to have the big wrecking ball forward in it again. Additionally I think we should give Pou his wish and give him the #2, I don't think Spud would want it in mothballs forever and also think a kid with as much character as Pou is perfect to be the next one to wear it. Coops into #27 might be fun as well for a bit of Jason Blake

Love 23 for Buckets Caminiti and another dead-eyed Saint Heater's old 24 for the Shaman, keep them together. Totally agree with Pou in 2, too.

Maybe I'd get Moose in 27; a good ruckin' number.

If Gresh does leave, the next #4 will be highly sought after surely, but dont see any of our current list wanting to step up, so maybe box it til one of our '22 or '23 draftees shows enough potential?

I’m not sure what the club is thinking with spuds number 2, but I reckon it would be a nice touch to have our captain wear the number 2 from here on in. Maybe that’s why it has been left vacant for the last couple of years, once steeleys reign as captain ends, the next appointed captain resumes the 2. Could be as early as next year with Wilks in the number 2.
