Nagambie vs Rushworth in the 3rds will be match of the day i'm tipping.

I thought Telford for Rushworth had a huge influence across the half backline against VT and he could be an X-factor against Sanderson. After watching both teams in the past fortnight i would have to go with Nagambie as they seemed to have more depth across the field and they rebounded the ball very quickly out of their defensive 50. However it could easily slide the other way....

Game to go goal for goal from start to finish but,

Nagambie by 3pts at the final siren

Dont rate fulco at all! much beter to have wheeler in that position! and W.shellie should start on! where are leigh wade and tom hardisty? definately rate Fraser tho:thumbsu:

whats with all the dud stanhope players being put in?
j.gentle. cant find a way to rate him, doesnt seem to get the footy and rarely uses it well.
r.auld. wtf? the kids about four foot two and only ever gets free kicks cause hes that big.
j.cockroft. dud. dont need to say anymore.
s.dearing. good player, but there is better for the position.
b.stokes. does he even play thirds?
and j.patten does not belong in the centre, let alone in the team, let the boy mature abit first.

wheres j. leocata? the man who along with r patten got stanhope into the finals in the first place. you cant put him in but you put reyne auld in? youve cooked it buddy.

plus theres the other players like willy wheeler (ave) , t.felsbourg (und), w.tranter (nag), h.floate (v.t). where they at?

B. Stokes on the pine.. he makes the bench look great by the end of the game..
Put M.Telford in a Key Position instead of the back pocket due to his size but other then that looks great..

Well boys season 2008 is done and dusted, Nagambie premiers, Floate leading goal-kicker and Patto the league medalist. Just some question i'd ask everyone on the thread.

Highlight for each team?
Lowlight for each team?
Disapointment?
Surprises?
Best players?

i think ill start it off!!

Highlight for each team? Probably Nagambie with their premiership win,
Lowlight for each team? I think both VT and stanhope would both have very lowlights at the end of the season going out in straight sets
Disapointment? I believe Stanhope are probably the biggest dissapointment, the best team in the comp and got bundled out, would have thought i'd definatley see them there last satdy
Surprises? Rushy. Runners-up. To me i didnt rate them all that highly throughout the season, could have in fact missed finals at one stage but still got the job done and made it to the granny
Best players? Obviously can't go past patto, could have easily slid into the one's side but decided to stay back and captain the thirds and while doing so won a league B n F. Well done patto

Ah, i filled in for Mez when Tonny had the bye in the Murray league. And we got a team in. In fact, Mez only had depleted numbers in four matches i believe?

And I've got word that the Benalla District Footy League side Longwood is looking to join the KDL, according th the Ky Free Press.

Lotta stuff mentioned by Chitta that's been put in the papers... Might have ta talk ta him bout Longwood...

A.Cooper??? Kid plays for Merrigum, need i say more.

R.Kimberlin as rover infront of McCorkell??? I hope for your sake you are joking.

S.Ginn??? Who is that? Dont really care either. Felsbourg is the best ruckman in this league. Has improved in leaps and bounds since i seen him last.

Pretty fair team but your followers are very questionable. Surely better players in the league then Ginn, Cooper and Kimberlin.

I'd chuck Felsbourg, Todd Clarke and Quade Comi in over those three any day

The Ruckman from V.T is who i rate the best in the league.. hits the on ballers on the chest every tap out.. but felsbourg would be much better around the ground
