Hangar 13 confirmed that it's working on an "all-new" Mafia game that's a "few years away," but stopped short of confirming that it will be Mafia 4.

I'm hoping it's more like 1 and 2, tighter narrative focused story missions with chapters than open world like 3 - think most Mafia fans want this too.

I like the stories from 1 and 2 but felt the world a bit boring. In 3 it came to life a bit more but I didn't get much into the story and found the formula hugely repetitive. I'm as over open world games as anyone but I'm still a sucker for a good one.

Mafia 3 had a terrific storyline with an awesome soundtrack and setting, but agree, unfortunately the gameplay and missions were just way to repetitive.

Really excited for Mafia 4 though.

Haven't heard anything on this, didn't even know 4 was in production. Absolutely loved the first two games, yet to play the 3rd
