Chain of urgent passing inside forward 50 by Carlton ends with an errant kick marked by Tom McDonald.

Tribute to our pressure there :)

Then they pull a goal out of their arse. **** Carlton.

Yep, Walker gets a tiny fraction of space on McDonald and snaps the goal under pressure from 20. Very lucky, and very frustrating too...

Strong contest by Mitch inside forward 50 results in a set shot and goal to Jonah. And very timely to say the least...

It's also very clear, again, that Trengove's struggling for confidence right now. You could see it unmistakably in that last passage of play.

Great knock forward by Garland just then to set up Jonah. But yeah, he really should've gone on and kicked to the 50...

Excellent tackle by Jordie on Judd just before as well. He's held Judd to 11 possessions so far. Very impressive performance.

Hampson hands off to Kruezer, then finds Garlett breaking the line, but he hits the post from 35. Thank Christ. That's what I call dodging a bullet.

If only Blease had finished better up the other end a couple of minutes ago. Need the next goal badly...

Bennell getting his hands on it and working hard. Good man.

FFS Frawley. We needed that.

Good pass by Trengove after that to Chip, and he goes for goal from 55, but should've done so much better with that shot.

Great intensity and commitment by us this quarter. Undoubtedly so. If we'd been playing like this every week, we sure as hell wouldn't be bottom now.

See Trengove's switch kick? He hit it as hard as he could and just got the 40 metres he needed.

That's right mate. Far from 100%, and that's factoring into his confidence too, it's fair to say.
