Amerson lost Brown completely on that play and then pretty much fell over. Game over. How was CWood though, actually tracked Brown and ran him out of bounds. Still has legs the old fella!

This game was always going to be very challenging. One of the most hostile environments in the NFL, so the amount of mistakes (drops/fumbles etc.) wasn't surprising. But that doesn't mean you can let 2 players rack up a combined 519 yards from scrimmage. Defence was absolutely horrid, worst game D has played in recent memory, can't even remember them playing this bad last season (and we only won 3 games!!!).

Regardless of whatever happens for the rest of the season, when the draft comes around, at the bare minimum our first 3 picks should be solely defence and particularly focused on the secondary. Apart from Carrie, none of our young players in the secondary are coming along as hoped (I'm not 100% sold on Amerson). We need to cut the deadweight and replenish through the draft.

Despite that, Offence was great once again today, and continues to show the rest of the league what a damaging unit it already is - it's scary how good it'll be in a 2-3 years.

There is no official word yet whether the rumors were true that Hayden was treated at a local hospital for third degree burns after this game. We are also looking into Antonio Brown as the arson suspect, though the evidence is pretty strong based on what we saw at Heinz Field on Sunday that he several times lit up Hayden, torched him, and burnt him to a crisp.
