Adelaide - Eddie Betts to release a brand of super baggy beach shorts which will sell like hotcakes

Brisbane - While plenty of former Bears and Lions greats will try for the vacant senior position it will be given to Warwick Capper

Carlton - Bryce Gibbs will turn up to pre-season training with a fully shaved head and will be unrecognised by the playing group

Collingwood - Travis Cloke will kick 100 goals.... in the VFL playing exclusively from the goalsquare and will have a sausage roll at 1/4 time, pie and a can of coke at 1/2 time and a donut at 3/4 time and will put on 3 stone during the season.

Essendon - Brendon Goddard will still think he is Captain and yelling orders and demands at training until Cale Hooker and Michael Hurley "sort him out"

Fremantle - Western Australian fruit and cake sales will plummet with the retirement of the Pav but vegetable sales will surge when Josh Green arrives.

Sydney - Callum Mills wins the Rising Star but Isaac Heeney becomes the new face of Chesty Bonds.

West Coast - Will ask the AFL for the last game of 2017 be a local derby as both teams farewell Subiaco and will be made a "no one gets reported" match

Western Bulldogs - Will break the 40,000 member number and for the Good Friday match in 2017 the Bulldogs will wear predominant Red and the Kangaroos Blue - over a million dollars extra will be donated to the Royal Children's Hospital as a result of the fixture
