Laycock - Won't be a full time ruckman, but will be our long term centre half forward, change ruckman.

Cartledge - More likely to be our ruckman than Laycock.

Hunt - Our Full-back long term.

Watson - Could be part of the midifeld rotation.

Winderlich - Our best prospect of a great attacking first rover since Bewick.

Walsh - Speed to burn.

Johns - Built like the proverbial brick ****house. Probably the closest of all to make a start this year.

Bradley - Gem a of pick up.

Stanton - Has the speed.

Nash - Unknown really where he fits in.

Dyson - Dynamic left foot.

Laycock - The best of the lot IMO. Will be a centre half forward cum ruckman of the future

Cartledge - Young ruckman who moves very well but is still very raw

Hunt - Time to shine for sam. Has all the physical tools and is a booming kick.

Watson - 6"2 version of Sam Mitchell

Winderlich - Will be a very good player. Eventually will make an outstanding ruck rover

Walsh - Moves like wanganeen. If he becomes a half as good we will have a player.

Johns - Will make a key forward post his own in the next two years. Has some real physical presence.

Bradley - May make a centre half back. His disposal needs a lot of work but he has tremendous upside

Stanton - Taller version of aussie jones

Nash - Running back flanker. Faster version of justin Blumfield

Dyson - Pornstar thinks im stalking this bloke. But believe when i say the kid can play. Super quick with a thumping left foot kick. IMO he will be the best of our 2003 draftees.

Dont let my name fool u i have been an Essendon member since the age of 4.

I tend to agree with the wraps on Andrew Dyson was an absolute steal for where we got him. Most of our young players all have the 'potential' the key is to let them develop and force themselves into the squad, it's what will seperate the good from the ordinary unlike a team like the bulldogs where they invested perhaps too much in youth and some of them are walk up starts and not forced to work as hard as they should.
