MVP Leaderboard (after Round 3):

MVP thread is back again this year. For that that don't know, you post the top five players that you believe most contributed to the game result (win/lose/draw). The best of those five you award 5 points to, the next 4, then 3, 2 and 1. These votes will by tallied by a mod every week until we reach the end of the year and award the BigFooty Richmond MVP.

Some clear things to remember:
- Active Richmond players only
- Richmond supporters only
- The five players must be different
- Discussion must remain in the autopsy thread, conversation will be deleted (it's a pain to tally otherwise)

The thread will be opened at the end of the game.

5. Astbury - Under enormous pressure he gave Cloke a bath in his 200th.
4. Martin - Our only really dangerous player in the middle, made some errors but gave everything
3. Lloyd - 3 goals & looked polished
2. Morris - For sheer G&D alone
1. Jackson - Good solid game.

Conca & Houli the only other considerations for mine!

5 - Morris - Solid effort, those two tackles in the last were outstanding.
4 - Jackson - Good four quarter effort.
3 - Lloyd - Great debut. King no longer richmonds small forward.
2 - Astbury - Won the battle with Cloke.
1- Martin - Solid.

This is seriously the most terrible 5 votes I think I have ever given

5. Astbury (never ever thought I would give that, very much worries me also)
4. Lloyd (debut gamer 2nd best on ground?)
3. Morris (he played great, got outshined in my opinion by players I didn't think I would give votes to)
2. Jackson (serviceable after quarter time)
1. Martin (He tried)

5: Astbury: Did his job. If you told me he would keep Cloke goalless, I would have said we win the game. We didn't win, but without Astbury this would have gotten ugly. VERY ugly. Uglier than it was.
4: Lloyd: Seriously, why hasn't he played every game? FAR silkier and more polished than Jake King. Exactly the type of player we lack at the moment.
3: Steven Morris: His efforts today were the best of anyone. Aside from Lloyd and Conca early, Morris really was the one who never gave up. His pressure in the last quarter was immense. If we could give each and eveyr player his tenacity and determination, we'd be in a MUCH better place.
2: Jackson: our most consistent player across the game. He has gone from a serviceable enough tagger/defensive player, to a competitive, inside midfielder and clearance machine. Would be top 10 in our best players at the moment. Our most improved player by a mile.
1: Martin: made some blues, and miskicked a few, but still played a good game when compared to others. Needs to back himself in a bit more when streaming into 50. Load up and go for goal, and he needs to utilise his kicking far more. Get it longer down the line, not 20 meters.

5 - Astbury - The only player to win his position
4 - Lloyd - Played VFL last year, and he was great in his debut.
3 - Morris - courage. Deserved to wear the jumper.
2 - Arnot - played a half of football and made our best.
1 - Jackson - Put his body on the line. Liked his game.
