My prem coach 2011 would always crash, and then i'd find it very unrealistic when it worked (i.e. forwards stats etc)

However, seeing this patch, hopefully i still got pc 11 somewhere and get it working. Great job

If you can't find the game, I don't mind giving you it to you, my code has been over the limit, but there is a trick to get it working.

Your game was probably very unstable because you were using the BASE version of the game, since then a bugfix "2.02" patch was released which you can find in the first post of this thread as well!

One other thing, Tempest, Dylan Grimes rating is a little bit too low. Maybe that is because he is is still young, and is always injured, but his rating and peak should be higher. He will be a great player.

I know, but I also told him that I'd let him know of other things that need to be edited. That was one of them, and Gibson Turner is a small forward, not a Midfielder. Just some things.

So i have the install file on my computer and saved the licence key. (I can find the cover of the game, but not the cd, which is where the code is...you lose stuff when you move house haha)

The licence key won't work anymore. I remember having drama's with it after I bought it. (I have paid for 2 copies of the game, 09 and 11, and never got them working longer than a week...Ad would never reply to my emails too, so i give up)

If there is a way to get around the code key, PM me how to do it etc, cos I love these games, and if the admin who have taken $120 from me won't reply, i'm hoping someone on here can. (i.e. uncustom)

Ill pm you in a few hours, ill give you a pm will all the instructions, pretty much all it is I just give you my config.xml file which is the file that saves your activation for the game, and then you have to change an internet setting to make it work, ill pm you instructions on how to do that, and the link for the config.xml

Hey Tempest, can I have a go at the ratings? How did you edit them? I went to the editor in the game but that's only good for the Base2011

Lammy’s Guide For Player Management And Tactics (Simming)
This guide is designed to help you pick up the right players and to utilise them in the right positions.
Player Positions
For length purposes, I will only be discussing playing positions and their attributes that are important. These players are the ones you should be drafting and aiming to trade for.
Tall Defenders – these guys should be playing CHB and FB. Your CHB’s speed should be reasonable, the FB’s speed does not matter that much. E.g. Lachlan Hansen
Key Attributes:
· High in Spoiling (Contested & Lead) , Marking (Contested & Lead), Strength (Overhead & Body), Man Marking
· Reasonable in Vertical Leap, Tackling, Speed
Defenders – make up the rest of your backline and one player on your bench. They should have the ability to play on both tall and small forwards. Of your defenders, pick the two with the best speed & footskills, they go at HB. E.g. Tayte Pears
Key Attributes :
· High in Spoiling (Contested & Uncontested), Marking (Contested & Lead), Tackling
· Reasonable in Strength (Overhead & Body), Man Marking, Vertical Leap, Speed
Drifters – he occupies one of your wing positions. The role of this player is to drift back to the backline to help out the defence. He should have decent tall defender, small defender, outside and inside midfield capabilities. The utilities/taggers of the game play this position best. If you want to start more than one drifter play him as a pure midfielder on the wing, alternatively if you are short on defenders he can go down back. E.g. Brendan Goddard
Key Attributes:
· High in Marking (Contested & Lead), Tackling
· Reasonable in Strength (Overhead & Body), Spoiling (Contested & Uncontested), Footskills, Speed, Man Marking
Marking Mids – are your main midfield forward types. You should aim to draft midfielders with decent inside, outside and forward capabilities, preferably within 5 rating points of each other. The ruck rover should be predominately an inside mid, the rover an outside mid and the centre a balance of both. They can also play as half-forwards but should always train as midfielders. Marking mids at HF should kick 30+ goals a season. E.g. Brett Deledio
Midfielders – Unfortunately there are only a handful of marking mids in every draft, so all other midfields fit under this banner. If there are no marking mids, you should draft players who have decent inside and outside midfield capabilities. After that, purely inside midfielders are the way to go. E.g. Tom Scully
Under no circumstances should you to draft pure outside midfielders with any or no forward capabilities, they are useless spuds.
Key Attributes:
· High in Marking (Contested & Lead), Tackling
· Reasonable in Strength (Overhead & Body), Hardball Gets, Footskills, Speed, Man Marking
Ruckman – Every team should have two recognised ruckman, one starting and one on the bench. Alternatively a ruckman who is able to kick goals can start as CHF, which means you play only one key forward but you gain an extra running player. When drafting ruckman, look for those who can play as a tall forward and/or defender. E.g. Matthew Kreuzer as a ruckman/ CHF
Key Attributes:
· High in Ruckwork, Marking (Contested & Lead), Strength (Overhead & Body), Spoiling (Contested & Uncontested)
· Reasonable in Speed, Agility, Vertical Leap, Tackling
Tall Forwards – are your CHF and FF. Your CHF’s speed should be reasonable, the FF’s speed does not matter that much. The FF is your main goal kicker; he should kick 90+ goals a season playing 22 games. Expect the CHF to chime in with 40+ goals. E.g. Jack Watts

· High in Marking (Contested & Lead), Goalkicking (Run & Set), Strength (Overhead & Body),
· Reasonable in Speed
Small Forwards – are marking mids who are good enough to kick 35+ goals a year in a forward pocket. Have a maximum of two small forwards in your team. This is done by training marking mids as forwards. If you have no marking mids to spare, forward pockets are ‘dud’ positions, you can put another key forward or any midfielder there.
Key Attributes:
· High in Marking (Contested & Lead)
· Reasonable in Strength (Overhead & Body), Goalkicking (Run & Set), Speed, Vertical Leap
Runners – I have only come across one or two in the game, they are guys who have small forward, outside mid, and small defender capabilities, but not inside mid capabilities. Runners are purely depth players, toss them around in positions where you have injuries, but don’t expect too much.
Tactics – These are my recommended default tactics, no set rotations are necessary. The sub should always be a marking mid or utility.
FP (Balanced), FF (Drag), FP (Crumb)
HF (Mark), CHF (Mark, Take Fwd Ruck), HF (Play Up)
W (Stay), C (Balanced), W (Drift to Def)
HB (Run Off), CHB (Tight, Take Def Ruck), HB (Tight)
BP (Tight), FB (Tight), BP (Tight)
RUC (Follow), RR (Inside), ROV (Outside)
Game Plan – anything mentioned here needs to be change, everything else leave at default
Ball movement – is at 8/10, move to 6/10
Tempo – is at 6/10, move to 8/10
Ground Usage – is at 2/10, move to 3/10
Opponents – is at 2/10, move to 3/10
Training
For the first week of preseason training it should be at level 6. Any players who have peaked in terms of their overall train at level 6 for the whole preseason. After the first week all other players train at level 7 for approximately three weeks. When it’s the Monday before your first NAB Cup game all peaked players train at level 5 and the rest train at level 6 for the remainder of the year.
Coaches
Pick up specialist coaches in these skill areas (Ranked in order of importance):
1. Marking
2. Tackling
3. Footskills
4. Spoiling
5. Handskills
6. Goalkicking
7. Fitness
8. Clearances/Hardball Gets (Alternate on a regular basis)

To use the in game editor rename the Base2012 folder to user_Base2012
