Still feels like he gives his direct oppo a little too much in some marking contests, dropping some he really could have done better.

That being said, much better 2nd half from him 100%. Made some really nice contested marks too

His field kicking was awesome from the back half - hit some bloody good targets.

Defensive work wasn't too bad either - good proper return game.

He still looks like a unique type in the back half

Reading early comments looks like he moved down back.
Last chance saloon for him otherwise it’s delisted come seasons end.

That's outstanding, really well said by Dave Mirra. He's not even part of the team anymore but still taking the lead in putting his arms around a player who's doing it tough with injury and form.

Playing away from the standard AFL circles will do him a world of good.
I sense he is playing in fear of failure and we all can see it aint doing him great.
Getting back to suburban type football might reinvigorate his love and enthusiasm.

There is certainly a view that he will be delisted at the end of this year unless something major happens. I disagree with that. He played a solid game today, with flashes of brilliance. The way he distributed on left and right foot with ease showed that he is worth persevering with.
