Worps, Amon and CMac all pretty good today. Scrim decent in the intercept role. Both our rucks still

Overall assessment we played down to their level.

Scrimmers always does well as the third man up intercept role and the side always looks better when he plays well IMO.

He's not a lockdown Backman and never will be but that's okay as having a dominant intercept half back is good as well (even better in a lot of ways).

Our rucks though......to put it this way I was reading the Blues forum after they beat us and a poster was praising Silvangis game in the ruck and another poster sid "yes but the Hawks rucks are young and not particularly good".

Important to remember that it's the old 6 degrees of seperation in the football world. Wether it be former teammates, former junior footy teammates etc these guys know each other off the field just as much as on it. Have no problem with showing respect to each other.

Its one of the great things about AFL. That, and that supporters from both teams can sit together unlike many soccer crowds in Europe.

Happy to bank the win, but 90% of the league would've destroyed us after such an inaccurate first quarter. Really hoping we can pick a fwd line and stick with it for next year.

Without seeing the whole field - it looked like he was kicking to where the forward would lead to, 25m right in front. But it looked like the forwards double backed and went to the pocket.
