With the Eagles upset of the Dogs, we are now locked into finals in 2023.

Massive, massive effort for the squad and the coaches.

Through the season we've missed mainstays in King, Membrey, Ross, Jones and Billings and built a front half on the backs of a 2nd year mid in Mitch Owens partnering with a preseason rookie in Anthony Caminiti.

We've seen Hill and Crouch play at their peak. Wang-Mil turn into a gun. Sinclair transition into the midfield. Windhager rack it up at half back and the evolution of our KPP ranks with Cordy taking over at FB and Sharman emerging as a deep forward.

Huge congratulations to Ross the Boss and his team for making it happen!!

If all the favourites odd wise win we will remain 6th and play Sydney in Melbourne. Odds are at least one underdog gets up though and we most likely either play Sydney in Sydney or Carlton.

Could go as low as 8th if we get smashed by Bris and GWS beat Carlton, plus Sydney beat Melbourne.

The very likely scenario is we play Sydney either home or away depending on the Sydney/Melbourne game next week. Finishing 6th and a 'home' final (probably the G) against Sydney is quite tantalising.

Was over the moon with the Lyon appointment

Haven't liked a few things along the way but at no point regretted getting him in.

Now he's brought it together at the pointy end.

Genuinely feel anything is possible with him steering the ship.

I feel like the last few weeks there's been a big improvement with our decision making and executing the basics. Hopefully it can continue.
