Oh man...until D-Day, August 2013 was so much fun. If it's possible to assign a 'high point' to the saga, that was it. For a brief, beautiful few days, we passed the tipping point into the ridiculous, *s given reached an all-time low, shrill admonishments reached an all-time high, and on top of all that, we actually thought we might be ok for a couple of weeks. Good times.Only as the pinata for our Whatever it Tacos themed victory party.
I'll hold a raffle as to who gets first whack at the piñata.Only as the pinata for our Whatever it Tacos themed victory party.
Chief executive Xavier Campbell would struggle to survive
Was just about to post same question...one of many things I hated about this article.Caro after Xavier now?
Why would he fail to survive? Do we just blame people for the sake of blaming people Caroline?
Laughable extension of logic from her.Caro after Xavier now?
Why would he fail to survive? Do we just blame people for the sake of blaming people Caroline?
"And influential Essendonians led by Ron Kirwan have reportedly raised more than half of Sheedy's pay packet – about $150,000."Sorry, what?
Understanding such a concept actually requires some sort of depth of emotional intelligence. She's not blessed with such a thing."Not that Essendon should see Sheedy as its saviour, despite the Bombers' long-standing and more recently damaging messiah culture which can be traced back to Coleman."
No Caro, that's just how football clubs are. Clubs are littered with 'greats' that the fans rally around and love, it's not a messiah culture, it's footy - something she clearly knows nothing about.
This legitimately reads like a post from the Cult of Robbo thread. It's a day of rejoicing for EFC - What this shows is that in a nearly 50 year career Sheedy has decided that EFC is his spiritual home.
We are lucky and privleged that Sheedy is returning.
Isn't everything even vaguely related to Richmond named after Dyer?Yea, and who was that thugs name? that right, Jack Dyre.

James Hird and Kevin Sheedy shake hands before a GWS v Essendon game.
KEVIN Sheedy is making a stunning return to Essendon in what will be a Godfather role.
The legendary four-time premiership coach will quit as director of Greater Western Sydney and return to the Bombers as general manager — club projects and innovation.
It is a five-year deal and Sheedy will sit on the club executive.
Sheedy has had several meetings with Bombers president Paul Little and chief executive Xavier Campbell in recent weeks and an announcement could be made as early as next week.
Kevin Sheedy and Terry Daniher with the Premiership Cup after the Bombers’ defeated Hawthorn in the 1985 Grand Final.
Contacted recently by the Herald Sun, Sheedy refused to comment about a possible return to Essendon.
The multi-year deal is a paid role worth up to $250,000 a season.
His role will include all facets of the club — community and corporate engagement, membership, marketing and football.
So, other than the fact that he played for Richmond, he's just a great bloke.Jack Dyer was a good Labor man.
It's only Essendon in her crosshairs at present.Funny how Caro doesn't have a problem with Carlton desperately trying to get one of their favourite sons back to the club: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-ne...vagnis-return-to-carlton-20141121-11rb9w.html
