My footy club isn't state league, far from it, and we use 'Every Heart Beats True' for our song, but it's prefixed with this, that one of our former players, a RAAF member, added. Would love to know where it's from, what other clubs might use it.

I was walking down to Bensons Lane when a copper said to me
You look like a Nor-West boy you'd better come with me
He grabbed me by the collar, he tried to run me in
I clenched my fist and knocked him stiff and then began to sing!

and then into the song itself.

Always sung or screamed at the loudest possible. Gives it our own edge on the song. Any ideas?

Taken from official WAFL club sites:

East Perth
Subiaco
East Fremantle
Perth

Swan Districts only have the lyrics on their site. Same goes for South Fremantle .

Claremont's is the same as Richmond's, except the "yellow and black" is replace (I think) with "the blue and the gold".

West Perth have nothing on their site, same for Peel Thunder.

For interest sake, the old version of the East Perth song.
