No way in the world can the Broncos have that many rep players under the cap.

Hope they get investigated.

Thats the thing. It has the all cear from the NRL despite the fact that

- Player has never done any noted work for company
- Broncos have paid the company for its services before

Its quite clear the Broncos are overpaying said company for its services and said company is passing the money on through a bogus sponsorship deal. Its just stupid really they are allowed to do it. Reading more into it it is a 2 year deal so 90k a year and the player involved isnt a star by any means (ie. Not Lockyer or Folau) so having said player be sponsored is absurd

all clubs have dodgey deals and the nrl catches these clubs out every year. especially when they are over the salary cap. they have up 6 fines for salary cap breaches or rorting every year and the broncos are the biggest offenders

The problem with this Broncos thing however is the NRL are saying its not dodgy. As it has gotten the all clear. Remarkable double standards really

To put it into context given the fact its a services company hes being sponsored by. Storm could of paid the local plumber 100k a year for his work and then he could of paid Billy Slater 95k a year to promote his business. Seems fair to me. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander

Well whats above board for Storm and whats above board for Broncos are two completely different things im afraid. Cheating one way and cheating in another shouldnt matter really. A rat is a rat even if it is wearing a prettier dress.

I think thats what he's pointing out to an extent to matter, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th party payments, they're all Cheating just by another name.

waldron says has evidence because he talked to the player managers about it. but when he goes and talks to the nrl about this, he won't have the backing of the player mangers

In hindsight, that's probably it. The NRL SHOULD investigate, but they won't.

if they did investigate it. he would say a player manager told him that. but the player manger wouldn't back his statement. because they want to keep their acreditation to the nrl
