Almost all these guys were good oral motivators, whereas Pendlebury seems a relatively quiet person unlikely to inspire with a combination of personality and passionate speeches.Where did McHale do his apprenticeship? Norm Smith? Barrassi? Hafey? Sheedy? Kennedy? Jeans? Face it guys the only thing that stands in the way of great coaches rising to the top are boards with a bad case of the "...fraids".
