So do you only like rappers with awesome flow or are they just your preferred rappers?

Yeah flow is pretty much my number one criteria for good rap.

I think of a rapper's voice as an instrument and if it's not in sync with the beat it bugs me, much like an out of time guitar/bass/drum would.

I don't really have favourite rappers so much as individual songs.

But generally I like most stuff by Immortal Technique or Prime (Aussie rapper from SA).

But if we're talking flow stuff like CYNE, Jurrassic 5, or Tribe is always pretty reliable.

Got around to listening to Chance the Rapper's 10 Day mixtape today. Not quite as good as Acid Rap but still great. 22 Offs is a great track.

IMO his latest album is one of the best hip hop albums from an Aussie of all time.

This was announced about 2 weeks ago but The Underachivers are breaking up after their next album this year.

It's quality. I'm probably still a little more inclined to prefer Power of the Spoken, but he's really developed his sound.

Killer Mike and El-P have become the most consistent presences in hip hop to me. Cancer for Cure, R.A.P. Music and Run the Jewels would all have to be near the top of the list for rap albums over the last five years and now they have RTJ 2 and apparently three separate Killer Mike solo albums in the making. Will be getting all of them and with glee. Really loving these guys.
