Soooo, this was released last week. Couldn't seem to find a thread on it.
After listening to it non-stop all week, I think it could be my album of the year. Not quite as summery boppy as the first album, but some of the soundscapes they have created... joisus.
Still has the industrial rock undertones to provide a base for some sort of cloud-soaring dream pop, but their melodies are getting richer and they're not afraid to push the boundaries in structuring their songs.
They're also quite happy to wear their influences on their sleeves, but not be chained down by them. What We Want is pure Fleetwood Mac at the same time as being pure The Naked and Famous.
