In a lot of ways the best thing to happen to us in a long time. Got rid of the guys who didnt want to be here, which is a cancer to any organisation. Had a hard look at wtf was going on off the field, got Swann, put more attention on player retention, were able to look at our cap and what we were paying (with some help from rule changes), rolled a lot of players out, drafted well, got some A graders in, started to listen to the rank and file members, got the jersey back, looking OK.
 
Said this draft lot was better than GH5 and got shouted down by TBD earlier this year. Every single player we got from the trade wants to be here and will give 100% to this club. The key to success is to grow the core from the inside and top up with trades when the list has its shape. Great to have depth now and the flow on effects of this new depth is already evident with the 1-4 years training 3 weeks earlier than they needed. They will fight for their spots and spur on some friendly competition.
