Anyone know why this isn’t on Kayo? Or if there’s any way to watch the AFL stream from the beginning not live?

Also how’s Crofts first half been? Sounds like he’s got a couple.

Croft has looked really good, but the opposition isn’t all that crash hot. He is towering over his direct opponent. But he had kicked 2.2 and been involved in a couple of other goals. Hit a beautiful short pass to Watson in the 2nd quarter.

Croft looks great.
Thanks, geez it’s a weird time to be a dogs supporter for the drafts 😂

We’re desperate to take multiple picks to draft and desperate for some quality young mids (as our whole draft hands recently have gone on Marra/Darcy) but looking like we’ll have to stump up again.

Can’t really complain with top line KPPs but it’s definitely kind of a 1st world problem haha

Half time

VM 55 SA 21

VM:

Watson - lotta chirp and very active around packs. Too quick and agile and can finish from anywhere really. Loves to celebrate

Smith - running all over the ground and strong inside, a step above

Croft - really impressive when given any form of separation. On lead but also judging ball in flight with deft positioning. Almost a bit it Lukosius at times on lead when in front.

Ashcroft - fairly solid inside with good hands, one bad kick but he’s gunna dominate next year

Smilie - fair beast of a lad and can play just about anywhere, good defensively as well

K. Brown - pretty busy and getting a lot of run off handball receives

Windsor - similar to Brown, he’s been fairly busy and clean

Visentini - competing well in ruck, good mark overhead and been better against the SA twin towers than Allies were

SA

Patton - Onslaught coming his way but is trying with intercepts and runs down half back to the wing

Draper - clearly the best SA mid both in talent and output and younger than most of them.

Weckert - had limited supply and looked very slow till a little spurt late in second when he took some marks up forward

Ryan - just about best for SA with strong marking and one of few who are trying to be creative

Goad - less effective than last week but winning most of taps when he gets time

Van Wyk - not using his strength as well as he should but is involved

Holt - not bad not great few good kicks and some bad ones switching

Slade - making a lot of runs off half back and back of square, similar to Holt inconsistent but definitely trying

Moir would be destroying his draft stocks this season wouldn't he? Just no ticker about him and not much standing out that says AFL player to me other than being ambidextrous. Should go down to half back or something to get more involved.

SA really need a spark from the likes of Delean and Moir. Needs to get the ball in the hands of some better ball users. Whoever is playing on Delean is completely blanketing him.

Ryan has been one of their cleanest players out of the back half.

Intensity just doesn’t seem to be his thing. Haven’t seen many 2nd efforts from him today. Looks very one dimensional as a deeper forward.

Would love to see him creating half back and using his vision/creativity and kicking.

Nah he's been ordinary this season injured or not. No way he's anything other than a state level player IMO.
He’s not running as well, it’s clearly affecting him. The difference between this year and last year is very noticeable. Not at champs levels. Granted just about no SA players are atm…woeful

VM system running in waves, very much a polished and well oiled machine.

Ashcroft a massive quarter, was everywhere.

Smillie a huge man, bit of Tom Green about the way he goes about it. Powerful.

Draper trying his **** off for SA. Only mid at the level

Of the players who are eligible for this years draft, the players who’s the improving their draft stock imo would be Kynan Brown, Caleb Windsor, Nathan Philactides and Jordan Croft.

I think Croft goes before Archer Reid now, his body of work is too good and he is improving week after week.
