Seaby's gone down with a shoulder, so the Cardies will have their work cut out in the clearances dept. for the rest of the game... he was doing OK until he got slammed tackled by NicNat (go figure )...

woohoo Natters. Up the black ducks!

The only good thing he's done all day. He's a very long way off AFL.

I hate to say, but I think the media have been swept away by his massive leap and dreadlocks. Yes, he puts up a contest when the ball is in his area but after that he is virtually useless.

I know he's only 18 and will develop, but I dont really think he'll ever be a star, just a marketing tool whoever gets him.

He really, really seems to struggle when the ball is not in his area.

Knock it off, he's 18 and tall - how did Buddy Franklin play for Perth a few years back? Did he even get a game in the league side?

He's obviously got to put some bulk on, but he has all the fundamentals to be a superstar. He's quick and athletic and can play the game - he's been in Swans best many times this year. Pretty bloody impressive for a tall kid. Skills clearly need work, but that's the case with any kid over about 6 foot 4.

Almost took a great mark then, dropped it recovered and then kept the ball moving. Huge potential.

Another goal to Hinkley

Hope there's no Eagles supporters around but Notte looks pretty good. If he can put on some weight and if it doesn't affect his speed, agility and weight he could be very good.

Swans win!!

Good win to the Swans...

Yarran 4 goals, Hinkley 2 goals.

Adam Campbell 7 goals...

Controversial end to the game with the umpires ending the game and everyone running on the ground to congratulate the players...only to get a call by the time keepers that the siren has not gone yet and there is 45 seconds still to play...everyone gets off the ground..the game restarts and then siren officially goes off and people run back on the ground...

Someone correct me if my memory is not good, but he did play one game in which he kicked a bag of 5 and won the game for Perth, but then Wesley College imposed a ban on him, only allowing him to play private college footy.

I am not sure Natanui has all the fundamentals to being a superstar. The thing is that Franklin has a good football brain and moves to the right places. NikNat looks really good at a bounce or stoppage, and thats where he wins his acolades, but everywhere else his game is sadly lacking. He's very quick and athletic for a big guy, but so is/was Clint Benjamin and Steve Gaertner.

Football smarts are what make a player dangerous - all you have to do is look at Yarran to know that. Yarran barely looked interested in today's game for a whole minute, but that is enough for him to really turn the result.

Naitanui did play a major role in turning the game. Whether he can manage to injure the oppositions playmaker on a regular basis may be another thing.

Thats why i hope we dont get natinui
Has great athleticism but lacks basic football skills/knowledge

Always finds himself in the wrong positions no idea where he needs to get to around the ground to be dangerous.
Lacks foot skills.

Carn the Swans...with their combination of pace and youth they possess it will either be close with them being a real chance for an upset if it is or a complete blowout Subi's way.

I'm still hopeful Melb will take Watts and we'll get the player WC dont choose, fingers crossed that we end up with Rich but wouldn't be disappointed at all with Naitanui. If both are gone then happy to pick up one of Hartlett/Zeibell/Hurley.
