Wouldn't that be so they could have a record of it? Unless it's for inane things like "what are you wearing?"People who email me from.the same office then when I verbally reply say, put it in an email.
I reckon It's mostly so they don't have to confront you verbally, it's easier to say controversial things in type.... but I do get people wanting to keep a paper trail

No, I genuinely need it. I have so much going on in the course of a few minutes, let alone a few hours by the time I get to something, that I actually need them to send me everything on email.So you s**t them.
