Helbig has been injured, he's just started back with the main groupHelbig aswell?
Also hasn't been named in our injuries
probably because we are trying to sort the forward line before round 1, so nab cup game time it not a priority for him. he'll be lining up for coburg. What's going on with Elton? haven't seen him in any nab game
apparently he only plays knight games

26 in the squad, 4 to miss round one, 2 of them from the rookies.
So knights is realistically fighting with arnot, white, griffiths, vlaustin, and one of the rookies for 3 spots in the senior side, 2 once grimes comes back, and then 1 once foley comes back. The rest of the squad you'd have to think are pretty safe at this stage.
Reckon he's currently behind vlaustin, arnot, probably white, and petterd if he gets the rookie spot.
Could see him maybe sneak in for a spot round 1, him v white I reckon. Then it's gonna be tough who to leave out from there for grimes. Could genuinely see knights playing a fair bit of footy at Coburg this year.
This depth business really takes some getting used to.
From the Herald Sun:
Chris Knights and Dylan Grimes, who have had injury-interrupted pre-seasons, are expected to get at least a half in Coburg's VFL match against Weribee on Sunday.

He was fit when we picked him up. DT Talk had an interview with Jack Riewoldt and were talking to him about Chris Knights, said he just had a little niggle in his calf, nothing serious. Thanks for sharing that Tradespert. Club must be taking a very pre cautious approach to Knights which is good. Rather he have a slow start to the year then get rushed back only to break down and have his season wrote off after a few games.
When he signed, I thought he said he was feeling fit and ready to go? Maybe our medical folk have a different opinion/assessment to the guys at the crows?

Good stuff - hope he and Grimes can get some minutes under their belts.
Would say it looks unlikely he will play round 1 if that's the case which potentially opens the door for someone else like White, A. Edwards or even McGuane perhaps.
