O'Meara was in the system last year. I don't get how inflating the age gap was supposed to convey that, but that's just me.The point is Mitchell has been in the system it is the other boys first season.
Didn't think it was that hard to understand.

Vlastuin is a lot more damaging than Brad Sewell. I don't quite understand that comparision. If anything Vlastuin has shown great outside work so far in his 6 games and solid inside work. Whereas Sewell is very good inside the contest but you don't want him getting the ball on the outside. Vlastuin reminds me a lot more of Jimmy Bartel.
That classic BigFooty train of thought just because a young rookie has a great start they have limited upside always makes me laugh. May not become any better than he is now? Fair dinkum.

Isn't this proven to be true most of the time? using the 2007-2009 drafts and looking at midfielders who were high draft picks and played well early (18 touches a game in their first season)
2009:
Tom Scully - Decreased from first year form
Jack Trengove - Decreased from first year form
Dustin Martin - Improved
Jordan Gysberts - Massive decrease from first year form
Ryan Bastinac - slight improvement from first year
2008:
Daniel Rich - slight improvement
2007:
Rhys Palmer - Decreased from first year form
so 6/7 of the seven were young rookies who had a great starts and then stagnated or had limited improvement
In what way.O'Meara is a class above.
In what way.

That's a fair rap!
Kid is a gun but you have him as the best player to hit the scene since.... well maybe ever!
How can you possibly question that?
O'Meara is just about the best kid to come into the competition in the last 10 years. He was selected in the mini-draft, would have been every clubs clear number 1 in the 2012 draft... Vlatusin was number 9, would have been 10 had Jaeger been eligible.
Jaeger is superior in just about every facet of the game. Phenomenal foot skills and disposal, elite below his knees, great goal sense, when O'Meara has the ball time stands still. It's nothing negative on Vlastuin, you're just setting him up to lose by comparing him to a future superstar of the competition who is an easy favourite for the Rising Star and looks to be the most talented kid the competition has seen for a long time.
Are you talking about O`Meara, Vlastuin or both?
Obviously you havnt watched Vlastuin that much.Vlastuin beneath O'Meara in every category
I and most people would say that O'Meara is better now and has more upside, and there are also other draftees who have more upside too, Vlastuin is playing great but he was always going to come in and have an impact, I think Richmond supporters are getting a little too excited, he went where he should have gone IMO.Obviously you havnt watched Vlastuin that much.
O`Meara is the class act and yes looks better, but the gap is very small. The way you are banging on its like a massive gap that will never be closed. Me thinks its more your dislike of Richmond that is clouding your judgement.
What a crock of shit. Whats this "upside" and how do you measure it and can you explain it to me.I and most people would say that O'Meara is better now and has more upside, and there are also other draftees who have more upside too, Vlastuin is playing great but he was always going to come in and have an impact, I think Richmond supporters are getting a little too excited, he went where he should have gone IMO.
Steady there boss.... not everyone who posts on here is still looking for their first pube...He's just better then Vlastuin. I know it's hard to comprehend as you obviously look through black and yellow glasses by even entertaining this thread, but it's obvious.
Wouldn't mind too much if he was playing at his ceiling already, a very handy contributor to the team and if he keeps playing to his current form/output, he'd hold his spot in the best 22.
This makes no sense Sewell was a rookie listed player and improved his game little by little.
Vlaustin a very good player already - O'Meara just.
Both clubs would be very excited.
Not only is O'Meara more physically gifted, he also has more scope to grow into and exploit these traits. What a crock of shit. Whats this "upside" and how do you measure it and can you explain it to me.
And why was he always going to have an impact? This will be interesting.
Steady there boss.... not everyone who posts on here is still looking for their first pube...
Have never claimed that Vlastuin beats O'Meara.... just brokering discussion on how they are travelling.
In fact have stated a number of times that O'Meara deserves to be rated as a strong number 1!
Take a look at average output per game however and you might see the gap is a lot closer than you think!
who calls their kid jaeger?
Vlastuin>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>any Eagles player under 20.
