I was taking a bit more notice of those ads at the bottom of the BF page, Teriyakicat. You know, those ads that you love so much, and it dawned on me just how junk they are. They're such lowest common denominator crap, which is sad to think that it's that kind of stuff which is "promoted", whatever that means.

I get that some of it is sport related, so it's going to be tweeted/liked/shared a lot and cause whatever engine that drives the algorithms which calculate all of this crap to trend (or whatever it does). But some of it is just gossip junk, click bait crap and other mind-numbingly boring/irritating first world junk that morons like to soak their minds with. A bit like a lot of people on BF. Which is why I like it in here, because none of you are annoying!:)

So I said "Please stop pulling at the console table :)" + she was still pulling at it + asked "Does this come out?" :eek: :eek: :eek: I said "No, it's a console table + it's under the breakfast bar to remain safe, because it can't be attached to the wall. Would you please stop pulling at the marble top? It's an 18thC antique!" She kept pulling: "So it doesn't come out?" + then she had the shits because I asked her to stop pulling! But she was still pulling! :mad: The agent must have heard me + came rushing in, said to the woman, that the console belonged to me + it was furniture + would be going with me.

THEN!!! Their daughter, eating a Chubba + with sticky fingers went to touch one of my silk cushions :eek: :mad: :eek: :mad: So I was just about ready to stab the whole family!!! I screeched at her not to touch with sticky fingers + the Mum was defensive + snapped back "She was just looking! :mad:" I replied (in my best Hyacinth Bucket voice) "It's fine to look, but it's very bad manners to touch!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: !!! :mad: :mad: :mad: !!! :mad: :mad: :mad: !!!"

Why don't people know that not everything comes from IKEA? That some things are precious + furniture isn't disposable + you don't go back to IKEA to replace theM?

Why don't people have manners? I'd never pick up, or touch anything in another person's home! As a child, my parents would never have allowed me to roam freely through someone's home?

+ you know what's funny? The Dad, the banging "Hey you!" Dad, asked my friend "What's happening with the pots?" He meant the French antique cast iron troughs + urns on plinths, + the sandstone urns on plinths, by the pool, which BTW are planted with orchids, ornamental cabbage, hellebores, pansies + other plants. They make quite an impact. When he was told no, he asked if he could buy them + was told, "Sure, I think they're about $15,000 each :D". Which they're not, but :eek: who behaves like that? They're not effing pot plants!!! FFS!!! No, 'They're lovely pots, which look great by the pool, I love the look. Don't suppose they come with the house do they?" from him!

I really despise bad manners! :mad: :mad: :mad: + I'm so angry I have a migraine! I'd feel so much better if I could just -

Yeah, I am certainly not interested in that gossipy trash and the fact that it takes about 1/4 of my screen is really really irritating because I can't see what I'm typing without a whole lot of colour distracting me.

I get a bit sick of ads targeting my interests, as well- and it's worse when someone in my family uses my computer and I get crap ads targeting them as well. Yesterday, my daughter ordered a dress on the internet that she asked me to pay for, so she looked up the website on my computer. It's for her dinner dance and I was happy to pay such a cheap price :P) but now I have been copping stupid ads for dresses for the past 24 hours! :mad: I mean how many dresses can a woman wear at the one time?? :confused:

Yup. Was a Klinsmann fan since 1994 world cup and followed him to Spurs. Stayed every since.

Good support for Kane and he is very very quick
