Really quite depressing to listen to the man himself express literally all of the same concerns as his fans here did regarding his non selection, especially the bit about never having played more than four games in a row. Don't care what anybody says, Ken Hinkley ruined this guy's career.

Other than that little annoyance, great episode lads!! :thumbsu:

In hindsight, once Gus & Paddy were banned, and we were denied a top up player, it would have been a sound strategic move to treat the season as a development year. Cycle through our fringe players, giving our young guys some experience, giving our seniors some key games on the sidelines etc.

Instead we got more games into PStew and O'Shea and a few dead end opportunities for El Butcho for a net return of zilch.

This. Who's a better player this year because of the opportunities they received in 2016? Clurey, yes, but anyone else? Other than that the only new additions to our 22 are SPP and Houston.

Good thing we're not repeating the same mistakes and have gotten plenty of gametime into Howard, Atley, Palmer, Eddy, Drew etc this year.
