I expect it to be a battle for the first 3 quarters but Geelong too strong in the 4th. Geelong by 25. Loser could be out in straight sets. Crowd: 87,000

Sydney
I think the Swans will eliminate a brave Bombers team. Sydney by 12. Crowd: 41,000

West Coast
The Eagles have a good record at Adelaide Oval, they play their best football at the venue and will eliminate Port Adelaide with a close 6 point win and if they win, they could be back there for a semi final. Crowd: 43,000

Interesting first week - I think at home Adelaide will win, not sure where GWS are at, have been playing alright without looking great.

No logic, just hopeful with the Cats/Tigs game. Should be great atmosphere and we should have our chance at the G.

You'd have to tip Sydney, but Essendon are probably just as likely of the 3rd-8th teams of rolling them as anyone. Sure, they leak goals big time but they should go up there with nothing to lose and could give it a shake.

No idea Port vs Eagles. West Coast play pretty well over there don't they? Genuine toss-up.
