I just saw that Anthem... That was premeditated and the Giants had no clue what was going on. We didn't drop stares until they broke after the song finished. Even Leon Cameron was like wtf?

So sad for Smithers and that will hurt us. Maybe Hampton comes in.

Such a great team effort and Leon can talk up their second half as much as he likes, but the fact is we played the clock, played defensively and just soaked them up in the second half. Make no mistake, we smashed them.

The push and shove is helpful. Ask Leigh Matthews. Physical game is separate from what you're talking about.

Kind of sad about the game to be honest. For Smith. A real downer.

That said, huge game from Jacobs. Must be real tough for him atm.

Brad Crouch stood up big time. Actually started to believe that he has some time with the ball.

Matt crouch typical high quality game. Really cool customer now with the ball. Tied bog with his brother.

Lynch excellent. Saw him a lot coming in off the wing playing contested footy? Maybe a tactic after smith went down? Did really well I thought.

Knight also had his best game in a while. Really hard at the ball and player and was clean.

Greenwood was excellent at the stoppages. Needs to maybe choose a different option sometimes rather than getting a half a kick on the ball that can potentially result in a clear take away from the opposition. Hold it in or give it off to a team mate.

Douglas fantastic.

The whole back 6 were extremely good. Hard to single anyone out.

Mackay had a good game.

Betts a lot better after some early fumbles.

Tex and Jenkins poor. Really struggled, especially Jenkins.

Cameron was poor by foot. He did at least provide some tough physical pressure acts. Really down on confidence though. Not playing on instinct at all.


Bad:

GWS. They were putrid for a final. Not a lot of intensity and could barely get their game going. Did not look top 4.

1. Pyke has a bunch of average players highly drilled. The thing is, under true finals pressure, a team of average players will be shown up. They'll most likely be playing Sydney in the prelim, and if they do, they aren't making the GF. Bookmark it.

2. They are making the most of a year in which there has been no standout, dynasty team. They've made the most of it up until now, but they're still just as average as they were last year and in 2015, and still won't be getting past Sydney in that prelim.
