Your football smarts don't get slower. That's on him. He's not going to outbody anybody or outrun many so he should read the play and put himself in better positions. However his ball handling is poor at the moment also.
His ball handling was pretty iffy pre-injury too. Don't know what happened to such a classy player.

Saw this coming a mile away. A few people shot me down when I questioned our supporter base and their arrogance based off a single game against an out of form Essendon. We're the worst team in the league, plain and simple.

Who was arrogant about a win after 7 losses? Our supporter base ... really?

What a crock. Stop trying to be a superior supporter huh. We're all in this together.

Kerridge blowing his chance today without Ed in the side. Loopy handballs. No player does that any more. Slick and quick. Tunnel handball if need be. Dropped for Ed next week and may not see him again.

Depth happens when the youngsters we have drafted reach their prime and those that didn't peak very highly become depth.

What he have now is not depth, lol, it's VFL players forcibly thrust into the AFL.

Right so you are expecting 20 players on $1 million each when youngsters are at their peak. All teams are scaled and all teams play youngsters. This is not the "kids" we are clearly not playing with any intent and cohesion. Melbourne also have plenty of kids in their team.

Wouldn’t you know it, Murphy comes back into the team and reassumed the captaincy from Cripps and the effort from the entire team is severely lacking again.

Take the damn thing off him already, not next year but now!

Not trying to be superior, just trying to point out how unfounded confidence can bring teams down, many people heavily underestimate our opposition.

Saw a number of posts on the pre game thread saying we were a very good chance to win despite all the injuries and form and lack of on field leadership.

It flows through from the media, the supporters buy in and so do the players to same extent.
