Little snippet about Mitch O'Donnell at the end of the article and that he is thinking of stepping away from VFL footy

NOBLE Park has suffered a fierce blow, with fullback Ryan Morrison joining a rival Eastern league Division 1 club.

Norwood is also being linked with powerful Box Hill Hawks midfielder Mitch O’Donnell, who played in this year’s premiership team and is apparently considering stepping away from the VFL.

Potential recruit from West Perth

West Perth stars set to fly the nest ahead of 2019 WAFL season

West Perth are expected to suffer a mass exodus ahead of the 2019 WAFL season, with several key players on their way out.

Big-bodied midfielder Luke Meadows is set for a move interstate if he doesn’t get an AFL shot in this month’s national or rookie drafts.

The 23-year-old met with SANFL premiers North Adelaide this week and will also spend time in Melbourne visiting several VFL clubs including Hawthorn’s affiliate Box Hill.

Was a mention in the Kade Stewart article, in the former hawks thread that caseman2 maintains, that Box Hill are looking to get Kade and his brother back over in the Brown and Gold.

It is understood VFL side Box Hill, where Stewart played 30 matches in two seasons during his time on Hawthorn’s rookie list, are also trying to sign him along with older brother and Katanning teammate Tim.

Any truth in the rumor we are speaking with Jake Barrett - former GWS and Brisbane rookie - and also happens to be the cousin of Luke Breust..........

Box Hill looks to have secured its first signing for 2019, per Paul Amy. Former Western Bulldogs rookie player Nathan Mullenger-McHugh is reported by Amy to have signed with the Hawks.

Article could be taken as meaning they've changed their aligned club (who they play for when not selected for Box Hill) rather than having left Box Hill altogether. Probably not though. Can anyone confirm?

Jordan Walker wasn't at Box Hill last year anyway. I don't remember him as a midfielder though - thought he was more of a KP player. His brother Lachie was at Box Hill this year but only played one game I think. He looked awesome in the HFC intraclub, I was really surprised he didn't have a better year.

Bull O'Donnell an official out - great he went out a premiership player but can't help but think he had more to give at VFL level.

I have heard on the grapevine Anthony Brolic (Premiership player with Box Hill 2018 and VFL team of the year 2017) maybe moving on from Box Hill to local footy.
Hope not!!!!

Not really a big surprise. I understand that most of the people on this forum are Hawthorn supporters, but since the removal of the development league all Hawthorn listed players are picked first in the Box Hill team with any remaining spots left for Box Hill listed players regardless of whether they are the best 22 players listed at the club. Not really much incentive when you can go to local leagues, get more money and are guaranteed a match based on your ability.
