Port were not going to have a team in the SANFL when they went into the AFL.
It was the bloody SANFL who insisted that Port have a team in the SANFL.
So a new Club .. Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club was formed to play in the SANFL and registered as such and were not allowed to train at Alberton, as per the SANFL ruling.
Tell me how this Club is the original Port Adelaide Football Club ..
