Carlton. I see them potentially competing within this generation of players (5yrs). Whereas Freo have no purpose and I believe will take at least 2 generations of lists after Lyon to build something (20yrs).

Carlton supporters are honestly pretty optimistic every year and actually believe they are a chance for the flag whereas Fremantle flogs completely gave up after 2013 and now just hope they don’t beat their previous Owen record.

I have s**t memories of 2 particular games last year .. a 90 something point loss to Melbourne in Alice Sprigs and a 36 odd loss to Freo.
