Last week I commented that it’s tough loving our club sometimes... This week well and truly makes up for those low times. Go Baggers!!

Literally went from the lowest of the low (loss to GC with a kick just before the siren) to the highest of highs (demolished the Dogs, broke the 100 point barrier with a goal on the siren) within a week.

Gotta love footy.

Dominated in midfield which was a welcome surprise...it's the key to us being a good team and only going to improve.
Can't remember the last time our mids had these sort of numbers:

Cripps - 36
SPS - 35
Murphy - 28
Fisher - 27
Walsh - 26
Gibbons - 21

Dow and LOB the only mids to let us down, but they are only second year players.

Also have Kennedy, Setterfield, Lang and Stocker to look forward to.

Cunnnnningham and Williamson replace Polson and LOB and we are instantly a 5 goal better team.

Arghh !! God yes that was good, almost knocked Mum out I threw such a big punch when Walshy broke the ton !

Seen the improvement every week, but improvement is expected from everyone and wins aren't.
To many good things to say about the boys today, everyone performed their roles but SPS and Harry definitely did that and more.
I love Dow but he either needs a week in the magoos or a week of solid kicking training.
Nothing against Polsen and O'brien but they shouldn't be in the side atm.
Charlie shouldn't just walk back in with Levi playing like that either, he needs to step it up has not been himself this year.
I say next week outs are Polsen and LOB, ins are Kennedy and Willo but would not complain if they give Willo one more week in the magoos, if Cunningham is fit bring him straight back .

UP THE BAGGERS! ❤

Great wandering in here

Essence of liniment, whiff of grippo, tang of sweat laden strapping, aura of victory, wonderful accompaniment to my cognac and cigar, yet minus the cologne stench le detractor.

The sentiment prior to the game:
  • Won't win a game with Levi and Polson
  • Levi can't kick, can't wait for him to be gone
  • We will be 0 - 22
  • Bolton can't coach, will be sacked, has not got a workable gameplan, I feel for the indoctrination of our youth
Well, just goes to show that when you are as competitive as we have been this year, when things click we can match it with any side. Yes we kicked straight and they didn't, but we have been on the other end of similar outcomes this year. We will continue to be inconsistent for the next 18 months, but the start of this year was ground zero and will will start to trend up.

Can't wait to dissect the game, players, Bolton, gameplan and tactics
For now, back to this cognac
Enjoy the Cognac and Cigar, Polson will be a hot topic this week

Walsh - 26 touches, 4 tackles, 92% DE, 21 pressure acts, kicked the goal that took us above 100

Oh and ran a lazy 15.9 kms (0.8km more than the next best)

Still on track for all-Australian squad:thumbsu:
Now that is some day at the footy.
