Eddie Betts lining up in Round 1 next year will actually be a game changer. Could you imagine if we have a finals run and eddie snags a goal from the boundary to put us up? The scenes would be huge.

I think he's still got a lot to offer and its great to bring him back into the Carlton fold and cement his post-football legacy as a Carlton great as opposed to that other joke of a club we loaned him to for a while.

Would be perfectly fine trading Phillips and hopefully whatever late pick we get for him can be traded for Knight or Cutler.

If he does go though it's imperative we keep Casboult as our ruck stocks would just be Kreuzer/Casboult/TDK unless we get someone else for depth like Zac Smith or Tom Nicholls.
