Isnt it amazing how this is all managed.
If you were sceptical, you could think it is all controlled and timed to make sure there is minimal dead air.

I wouldnt be surprised if 90% deals are all done already and the afl drip feed them to ensure maximum coverage.

Reminds me of that story whenJohn Elliott and us tried to merge with St Kilda in the 90s. The combined club would have been called the Carlton Blues, still wear Navy Blue, play at Princes Park, and only wear a St Kilda badge on our Guernsey to acknowledge the Saints history 👍👍

We could have kept out current premiership cabinet too...

This doesn't take into consideration that the AFL love making things up on the run to pander to public opinion

The AFL will take into consideration if any compo will have a negative impact on Gold Coast. Giving Richmond a pick after their first will push GC back a pick so band 1 is less likely.
This is how they operate, corrupt.

I don't see The Swans letting go of their #5

Essendon folk are confident that two first rounders should come their way, but I doubt that will happen. (never say never)
A pick #9 and next years second rounder sounds about right for Daniher, but even that's a bit risky.

Reckon The Dons will have to take what's handed over to them. Daniher won't be staying in Melbourne. GWS maybe?

Club Statement:-

General Manager of List and Recruiting Adrian Dodoro said the 25-year-old had cited a change in lifestyle and preference to live in Sydney as the motivating factor.

“The Club acknowledges the reason behind this request from Joe, however he is a contracted player to the Essendon Football Club,” Dodoro said.
"He is a very highly regarded player at our Club, and we have advised Joe that ultimately we want him playing for the Bombers in 2020.
