AFLW 2025 - AFLW Trade and Draft - All the player moves
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Nope. You need to use 2 in a 4 year period.
Last year we used 2 (Walsh and Stocker). Ditto the year before (Dow and LOB).
We can trade out of the 1st round this year, next year AND the year after and still have used 2 in 4 years (both in the 2018 draft).
G that would be a great outcome...I wouldn't pay more than pick 9.81....
Meh, not much of a Gaff fan myself.
That hit on Brayshaw has put me off considerably.

Gaff finished 4th his best result in 3 yearsAndrew Gaff just finished 2nd in the Eagles B & F and we have people baulking at paying a future 1st rounder for him. I don't think the trade will eventuate, but gee if there is a sniff we can get him, we trade next years first plus change in heartbeat, without even a moment's thought!
You'd have to be a deadset nuffie to not rate Gaff. If it doesn't blow our cap or picks moving forward, you do it in a heartbeat. An elite gut running winger. Of which, we currently have zero.
There is no way west coast take only pick 9 for Gaff. We will have to cough up 2 x firsts.
Just floating the idea past us eh?G that would be a great outcome...
Bonus points if you get the reference.....
just a guess, but if viewed in that context, the player doesn’t reserve any right, he merely delays acceptance of a new agreement at expiration of initial agreement; because, if not mistaken, and assuming it is correct, AFL rules, of which a related clause was previously posted in here by Snake, preclude club and player from including unilateral options.Don't view it as a long-term contract with a get-out clause, view it as a short-term contract with a player's choice extension clause.
Gaff gets one/two/three/whatever years as an initial contract, and has the choice to extend that by another three/four/whatever years on the same terms. If he chooses not to extend the contract, at the end of the initial contract term his contract ends and he is eligible for free agency again.
Would be a crazy good outcome for us getting gaff for no picks.
However in compo eagles would only get a pick after their first, so mid teens.
Is Kelly worth essentially gaff and their first rounder, plus possibly more?
I wonder if the mystery player knows who he is....

I hope we leave the private jet out of it.
Felt like we over did it last year with Sheil and it didn’t help flying him up to Noosa.
I see how it is...You'd have to be a deadset nuffie to not rate Gaff. If it doesn't blow our cap or picks moving forward, you do it in a heartbeat. An elite gut running winger. Of which, we currently have zero.
Hopefully the our trade period doesn't revolve around this trade...Just floating the idea past us eh?![]()
Correct.According to TheAge, “Stephen Silvagni says Carlton are no longer interested in out-of-contract Richmond forward Dan Butler.”

Exactly, I'd much rather have coffee with stringer, Heppell and daniherI hope we leave the private jet out of it.
Felt like we over did it last year with Sheil and it didn’t help flying him up to Noosa.
That homocide would have been a brute of a show. Back in those days there wouldn't have been much sympathy for the victims either!!We could do a deal involving DVD's of Homocide, Division 4, Sullivans etc.
