Pendles is a constant who won't this year because of games missed and some average form at times.

Sidebottom is a case of see Pendles for a similar story.

Grundy seems to be falling out of favour in the media. Last year he was all the rage for AA selection and Brownlow contention.

Adams is being talked up a bit but surely there are midfield types who can hit targets that will be ahead of him.

Jordy is our best A grade quality in some respects but has hardly played.

Treloar was in contention last year but injury has robbed him of a decent chance this year and he never really displayed his elite form.

That counts for nothing. The tide is turning anyway. It is tougher playing in our team at the moment and there is pressure on our backline to perform. That makes the job of our defenders none too easy. Will be great to see Maynard get there against the odds. I also think that Andrews and Weitering are praised more by some because they are more defensive whereas Moore is too attacking. Andrews' only knock is that Hawkins and Lynch both got hold of him but the critics do not seem to notice because he always regarded as the best defender.

I think that Maynard is easily our best chance. A lot depends on who the player is competing with. Maynard has been a standout hbflanker. Adams had been good but look at all the other mids?

Yeah, I saw Pendlebury in a couple of mid-season AA teams despite having missed a game or two by that stage. Ageless

I think Maynard, Moore and Adams will all be in the 40 man squad. You'd like to think Maynard would also currently be in the 22 with Moore also a good chance.

Adams' worth is seemingly better appreciated by the coaches than in the media and will probably struggle to make the final cut despite currently sitting 5th in the AFLCA award.

Given our form Maynard likely only inclusion. Adams would be stiff to miss but he’s not a favourite outside of collingwood. Moore’s been good but likely will miss. Pendles hasn’t played enough.
